In an interview with Arts & Culture, Team Distant front man Roy Kasale revealed that preparations are on for the European tour this year. “Yes we will be having an European tour this year but not all is finalised with the arrangements for the tour,” said Kasale.

The Cold and Water hit makers strides on the continental stage will be a great step towards the growing career of the duo. Team Distant has been one of the few local artists who enjoy international bookings outside the country in recent times. Kasale further indicated that with their tour they would be planning to cover more than one country in Europe.

“Countries that are in our plan to cover or set for are five and these countries are France, Holland, England, Portugal and Spain and these are the Europeans that we will be going after,” revealed Kasale.

Though these are the five countries that they would like to include in their tour, Kasale mentioned that they are only left with two countries that they are yet to confirm with which have been left behind.

In addition Kasale said they plan to cover more than one venue in these European countries during the three-months tour. On other news, Kasale says they recently clinched a new deal with Studio 88, which has been great value to their career.

“We signed a deal with Studio 88 to dress us whenever we go perform during gigs and so far so good with the deal as they are treating us well,” he said. Kasale further advised fellow artists to explore the international market, as there is great potential in the international market compared to the local market.
