Mammoth task for Zebras in AFCON qualifiers

Saul Coco gave the home side the lead before the Zebras were reduced to 10 men after defender, Thato Kebue received his second yellow card. Equatorial Guinea made use of the numerical advantage and Federico Bikoro sealed the victory for the home side in 66th minute.
The two sides meet again tomorrow at the Obed Itani Chilume Stadium with the Zebras hoping to register their first win for the qualifiers. They are currently sitting at the bottom of Group J with one point from three matches.
Tunisia lead the group with seven points, six more than Zebras. Equatorial Guinea are second in the group with six points while Libya are third with three points. Mogomotsi Mpote’s charges will be hoping to take advantage of the home ground tomorrow but the worrying factor has been lack of goals. A victory will put them back in contention. The Zebras only managed to qualify for the AFCON finals once in 2012 under the tutelage of Stanley Tshosane.
