Immense talent at Miss Supranational fashion show

The pageantry has proved to be among the biggest and fashionable beauty pageants in the country.

The venue setting was top notch and the audience also proved that indeed the local pageantry and fashion industry has grown immensely to match international standards.

Not only that, but the 30 beauties selected from auditions were a testimony that indeed the judges did right as all the contestants from different parts of the country impressed the audience with not only their beauty but immense talent and intellect.

They surely made the judges’ job difficult to select the top 12 as the competition was very tight and all the women came fully prepared to book a slot to the grand finale.

In the first parade where the contestants introduced themselves, they were all dressed in beautifully designed colourful outfits. Their second parade was a talent show where each artist did not only showcase their talent but also dressed to match their performance.

Amongst the impressive performances was that of Dabilo Moses who recited a poem about herself as a strong beautiful African woman, Cynthia Kalayakgosi who made a beautiful painting in a short time frame, Kesego Chalashika who wore pink ballerina attire and recited a poem titled The Little Girl In Me, Rachel Senamolela performed a play about an abused woman, Millicent Ramatlhape recited a poem selling Botswana’s beautiful tourism, while Tia Lekgowa did contemporary dance.

Even though all the contestants brought their A game to the competition, the judges could only select the top 12 and the women whose lucky stars were by their side and got selected to proceed to the grand finale are; Dabilo Moses, Precious Haushiko, Stephinah Sebina, Cynthia Kalayakgosi, Mosa Balesamang, Laura Alfred, Millicent Ramatlhape, Kitso Makgekgenene, Baaitse Serau, Tia Lekgoa, Naledi Philemon and Felang Kwapa. Moreover, the legends in the pageantry industry in the likes of former Miss Botswana, Miss Millennium to mention a few showed the aspiring queens how it is done in the ramp. They paraded beautiful different attires on the ramp and they were surely an inspiration. Despite their age, they still had the zest to show their catwalk. Lina Williams entertained the audience with beautiful songs.
