Twaza told Arts & Culture that he has never had the chance to launch his two albums, Testify and Umuhle and will use tomorrow’s birthday session to take them to the people.

Testify album has tracks like Testify produced by DJ TPZ from South Africa, Moribo produced by DJ Call Me from SA, Masa and Jona featuring local gospel star Obakeng Sengwaketse and produced by DJ KSB and Mr Six21 DJ Dance respectively, Abanghani and Uweeh both produced by DJ Muzit.

Umuhle has 15 songs and features DJ Active, Sindi Nkosazana, Leone Lee, General Stawila, Thapelo wa Mojuta and Obakeng Sengwaketse.

He told Arts & Culture that that album was doing well in South Africa. “I will be shooting the music videos again for Testify song with DJ Tpz. Local artists who will be entertaining the audience at my party includes DJ Kap, DJ Fezz motaz, DJ Eddie, Obakeng Sengwaketse and internationally we have Dr Nel, DJ Tpz, DJ Active and DJ Takie,” he said.

The dress code of the event is black and white and event host will be Dops Baipedi. Tickets are sold at P50. DJ Twaza also revealed there are other upcoming events including the one that would be hosted at Maun Sports Complex on August 25 dubbed Babize Bonke Fest. He said it would be launched on April 29. He added that they will always prioritise security for all their events.

He, however, said every music event coordinator faces financial challenges to make a festival they dream of and urged the public to attend in large numbers.

DJ Twaza started his music career in 2012 when he dropped his first album, which was called Gaufi le Morena. He does house music and many of his producers are from South Africa while locally he worked with DJ Bino and Tshepo. He writes his own songs.
