Mabua rushed to court to challenge the mobile telecommunications company from hosting Mascom Horse race, the popular event he believes is his brain child. The interdict comes after last month’s announcement by Mascom that it would be hosting the event elsewhere without him.

According to Mabua, the event is a joint venture between him and Mascom. Following several hours of trying to get the teams to negotiate and settle amicably, the parties failed and the matter was argued. Kebonang ruled that the matter was urgent and that with the race being Mabua’s brainchild, Mascom had no right to host a similar event.
