Music lovers will get the opportunity to vote their best local artists who will perform at the the Very Best of Botswana In Song concert PIC: MORERI SEJAKGOMO



A press release from Blue Skies PR Agency says the concert aims at celebrating the country’s very best in the music industry across various genres. The event coordinator, Benah Kobotwe said they are excited to host the concert which is a first of its kind, with100% local line-up to showcase the very best of local creative artists in song.

"Thirteen categories have been selected, and we will announce all nominees per the different categories in due time. Following this, the public will then be afforded the opportunity to vote their best artists per category.

The best per category will then be part of the line-up for the event,” she said. Kobotwe reiterated that September was selected in honour of the country’s 57th independence anniversary, adding that music connects the world, and as such they want to use the event to promote Botswana regionally and across the globe. She further said it is also aimed at showcasing the immense and diverse talent the country has.
