“Our winner walks away with quite a lot of prices worth close to P500,000. She walks away with a brand new car that she gets to keep with motor plan and insurance. She walks away with a degree scholarship of her choice. She does not have to do it during her reign. She can do it whenever she is ready. Our winner walks away with wardrobe worth P50,000 from different local designers.” “She will stay in a house that is fully furnished for the year of her reign with bills paid, basic grocery provided for and her monthly allowance. She will have her spa home, walks with hair and make-up on call whenever she wants and a management team who will take care of all her assets during her reign. Our prices are quiet extensive,” she said.

She further stated that the Miss Supranational queen would represent the country in Poland at the end of July. Moremong also explained the pageant was hosted by a company called Something Big. She said Something Big was formed by a collaboration of different creatives who have been in the beauty pageant industry for some time and decided to create a company that would curate different beauty pageants and lifestyle events. Moremong added that their Miss Supranational was their first pageant after being awarded the license last year by the Miss Supranational International body.

She explained that they were first license holders of that pageant in Botswana. She added that the current queen from South Africa Lalela Mswane would be crowning the next queen at the international pageantry end of July this year. Furthermore, she added that they were looking for ladies aged between 18 and 30-years-old, who do not have a visible tattoo when wearing a one piece swim suit, who has never given birth, who has never gotten married, with no criminal record, of minimum height of 1.7m, should be confident, good posture, good appearance and personality to make it to the top 30. She further said this weekend’s Gaborone auditions held at Capello were the last ones.

She added that they did national tour of auditions at places such as Kasane, Maun, Francistown, Selebi-Phikwe, Gantsi, Kang, Phalapye, Jwaneng for auditions over the past five weeks. She added that after selection, the top 30 from the auditions will be trained on different fields.
