The construction company is on-site for the construction of water pipes between Radisele and Mahalapye villages.

In the latest robbery incident on January 18, six armed robbers attacked and assaulted a Chinese entrepreneur, robbing him of petty cash amounting to P30,000, a laptop, and his ATM card with which they withdrew P3,000.

Last Saturday at around 1:36am, five armed robbers attacked seven Chinese men who were in the company of two security guards at the campsite in Radisele, threatened them with something that looked like a pistol and robbed them of a large sum of money.

Investigating the matter, Palapye Police Station commander, Superintendent Molly Lebala-Moduke said robbers who were alleged to be also armed with knives pounced on them, tied their hands and legs with shoelaces and robbed their property at the value of P97,280.

"They stole petty cash amounting to P23,180, $400, A$300, ¥500, eight mobile phones and fled the crime scene. Then, we managed to recover two mobile phones that were abandoned at the back of the camp. Investigations on the matter are ongoing to locate and arrest the robbers," she said.

Lebala-Moduke appealed to members of the public to alert the nearest police if they can find someone in possession of a large sum of money in the aforementioned foreign currencies.
