Kabo's solitary strike hands Notwane maximum points

Notwane were the first side to ask questions five minutes into the game. Remmington Masuku and Adam Tende combined well inside the box, but the Forest defence got to re-group, and dealt swiftly with their efforts.
Both teams approached the game positively in search of an early goal but Notwane had an upper hand, creating chance after chance although their forwards could not convert. On the 35th minute, Forest broke on attack and Terrence Mandaza was left facing the goalkeeper, Tumiso Mashakola alone but the latter pulled off a brilliant save.
With nine minutes left on the clock when all hope was lost, Notwane broke on attack, and Lemogang Kabo received a pass inside the box and beautifully composed himself before he hit a hard-low shot to beat the goalkeeper. Forest now came out with all guns blazing searching for the equaliser but they could not break Notwane defence.
Thaloba Nthaga, who is the Notwane head coach, said he is quite happy that his side got to keep the consistency and won two games in a row. “Before the game I talked to the boys about consistency. We have not really been consistent, as we win a game then lose the next one or draw but today we got to win two games in a row and for that I am happy for the boys,” Nthaga said.
The trainer further said he believes his side is still in the race.
