BDP welcomes Lesaso, recruits 94

The recruits are from different wards within the Shoshong constituency. They were received during the official welcome of the area Member of Parliament (MP), Aubrey Lesaso on Saturday.
When welcoming the new members, BDP president Mokgweetsi Masisi requested the party’s old members to give them love and cooperate with them so that they understand how the party operates.
He reminded the members that as the parties go for general election next year, it is important for all structures to be active and all party members must do their best to recruit new ones.
“For us to win the elections, we have to win every constituency and wards. Let us go and talk to our members who have defected to opposition parties and those who are not active to come to their party. We have to show them love and bash them for having been gone to other parties. They need our support for them to come back home,” Masisi.
However, a member of BDP central committee for the area, Neo Kealotswe said it is possible for them to retain the constituency if they are united. She also asked members to work together and accept those who are new without sidelining them.
“Let’s work hard for our party and keep on recruiting new members in all of our wards,” she said.
