On top of the brand new car, the queen will be accommodated in a fully furnished house, given monthly groceries, medical aid, spa treatment, hair sponsorship, a wardrobe sponsorship of P50 000, make up artist on call, personal trainer, a stylist and a public relations practitioner. The first ever Miss Supranational Botswana is organised by a local creative establishment, Something Big which was awarded the license to run the pageant last year. Miss Supranational International is regarded among the top five beauty pageants in the world.

The search for the first Miss Supranational Botswana queen will begin next week with the auditions and scouting for candidates scheduled to commence on January 21 in Kasane. The winner will be Botswana's first ever representative at this year's Miss Supranational International.

The Supranational pageant's first inception was back in 2009 in Poland, and Botswana will be debuting at the upcoming pageant. Miss Supranational Botswana together with Something Big have gone overboard to give prizes for the first princess, second princess, and the queen. During a press briefing today, Masi Hule who is a partner at Something Big revealed they will have prizes for all those who make a podium finish. “With our prizes we have decided to give the 2nd and 1st princess the same thing, scholarships to study for a degree of their choice locally,” he said.

Hule stated that the items are not only the prizes in store for the 1st and 2nd princess. “The 1st and 2nd princess will also be given management support to help sell their brands and also at the same time build their brand,” he added.

Meanwhile, interested parties who wish to take part in the Miss Supranational Botswana are advised to follow social media pages for information.
