Boyfriend’s brother rapes Dekar woman

The suspect allegedly attacked the 23-year-old woman while she was sleeping, raped her, and fled the crime scene.
No 6 District Officer Commanding, Senior Superintendent Thari Senwelo said the victim’s boyfriend had left her sleeping when he left for work while his brother was drinking alcohol outside the house.
“On arrival from work, the boyfriend found his girlfriend crying and sexually assaulted with his brother nowhere to be found. Investigations into the matter are ongoing to locate and arrest the suspect who is still at large.
I plead with women to be cautious when surrounded by male company [familiar or not], especially when there is alcohol consumption involved,” he said. Senwelo also implored men to respect women stating that no matter what, there should be consent between the two parties.
