Despite all the hype on social media, the music festival only attracted a handful of people. Controversial South African (SA) talented songstress, Kelly Khumalo who was supposed to have raised the bar for the event, walked out of the stage just less than a minute after starting her performance.

The Asine hit maker, who took the stage around 1.40am, cut her performance short seconds later complaining about poor sound system. Prior to her performance, Kelly Khumalo’s live band spent close to 30 minutes doing some sound check and at the time due to the bad quality sound, one could pick that the SA multi-award winning musician would not finish her performance.

When she walked away from the stage it was double tragedy for the organisers as already the stadium was as good as empty. Following her exit from the stage, the SA artist live band group also took away its music equipment and joined the songstress out of the stage. It was a painful moment to witness as Kelly Khumalo drove away in a blue VW car.

One of the organisers, Bana Bana Bantogwa (BBB)’s Allah Ntogwa was amongst those who were left in disbelief. Moments after the SA songstress' exit, Ntogwa together with her BBB traditional group took to the stage. The group did not let the poor sound quality affect its performance as it treated the handful of jazz lovers to an early Christmas through their sizzling act. In addition, BBB came prepared as its choreography was perfect and to say they had nailed it would be an understatement.

Nono Ramogotsi also had a good day in office as she kept the attendants on their toes. Her overall performance was magical and lit the place up with her amazing vocals. Other artists who performed include Balaakgosi, Kanvuthu and Presho to mention but a few.
