The single titled ‘Pomela’ released late October is a love song that can surely be danced to.

In an interview with Oura, she told Arts & Culture that the song is just a depiction of pure love between two people and has been on rotation in the local radio stations. “The song is a conversation between two lovers who tell each other what their love means to them. We actually both wrote the song. Each singer wrote his or her own verses.

The public has really accepted the song and it’s has been aired on different local radio stations,” she said. She also explained that working with Motlha was amazing and organic as they were friends already. She explained that the song was birthed in 2020 when they were just sitting in the studio and a producer played the beat then they started singing on the beat.

She said the song was long recorded in 2020 but they decided to release it this year. She also pointed out that Motlha was a very seasoned writer whom she respected so much. She added that he also gave her advices on how to deal with pressures in the industry and therefore thanked him. “Currently, I am working on an EP. I have already featured three local big artists and I am confident the songs are going to be amazing. I am working on an EP due to be released beginning of 2023.

I have seen a lot of growth more and more people are getting to know about Oura the singer and getting to know more of the music and receiving it well. I encourage young people who would love to join the music industry to stay in school and also understand what they want in life because there are a lot of temptations in the industry you have to understand yourself,” she advised.

Oura's passion for music is clearly reflected in this single. She is the winner of My Star 2019 and simply following her love for music. She has four singles to date.
