The games kicked off on Friday when Debswana Young Stars hosted Notwane in Jwaneng and handed the former Premier League giants their first defeat of the season.

Notwane were the first to find the back of the net in the first half before they conceded two goals. Ahead of the games, Notwane were sitting on position two behind log leaders, Matebele FC.

They have now moved a notch down after the defeat to Young Stars. Chiefs on the other hand suffered their second straight defeat when they fell 1-0 to Tlokweng United on Saturday.

Magosi were hoping to bounce back to winning ways after suffering another loss a fortnight ago to CRACKiT City Polar. However, it was not to be as Tlokweng United registered their first victory of the season.

Chiefs are now sitting at position four with 10 points, four from log leaders, Matebele FC. Matebele are now enjoying a two-point lead at the summit after registering a 1-0 win over Matebejana on Saturday.

They are yet to lose a match this season and have scored 14 goals in six matches. City Polar missed out a chance to stay on level in points with log leaders when they played to a 0-0 draw with Broadhurst United.

They are sitting at position two with 12 points from six games. Meanwhile Black Rangers maintained their poor start to the season after suffering a 2-1 loss to Union Flamengo Santos on Saturday. Rangers are still rooted at the bottom of the log standings with only one point from six matches.
