Police issue warning over drink spiking

This follows an incident in which a 28-year-old woman of Serorome ward in Palapye opened a rape case on Saturday after she woke up next to a man but could not recollect events from the previous night.
No 2 District Officer Commanding, Senior Superintendent Paul Oketsang said police tried to question the victim about events of the previous night but she appeared clueless.
Narrating what transpired, Oketsang said the victim told the police that she was shocked to wake up next to a man and discovered that they were even intimate and when interrogating him he got angry and left.
“According to her, he was a complete stranger, and she does not have any information that could help lead to his arrest. This is a difficult case, we do not know how we are going to locate and arrest the suspect,” he said.
