Due to the state in which her body was found, a post-mortem was carried out right away where after she was immediately laid to rest.

On the case, Sejelo Police Station commander, Superintendent Mogomotsi Matlapeng said investigations into the matter are ongoing to establish events leading to the young woman's death.

“The deceased’s boyfriend is currently in police custody helping the police with investigations while we are still waiting for post-mortem results to establish her cause of death,” Matlapeng said.
