The centre of all these sessions is food and drink, and depending who is hosting and where, there is different ways to plan for food. Some of your options are catering, self-catering and potluck.

Personally I enjoy cooking so you could always ring Chellzkitchen to cater for your small sessions, we are here for you should you want to play host and look good while the food comes out without you breaking a sweat, or if you are attending a potluck. A potluck is a communal gathering where each guest or group contributes a different, often homemade, dish of food to be shared.

It’s best to discuss with everyone and make a decision on who is bringing what. If you are lucky as it should be, you will get to bring your favourite and your most easy dish to make.

It was my sister’s birthday on the weekend and she hosted an intimate pink, white and nude themed celebration. Champagne was flowing and there were cakes and all things sweet including a great menu.

There was something for everyone’s dietary preferences. Pap, Rice, Stew, Steamed Veggies, Roast Cheesy Potatoes, Butternut Salad and a Loaded Green Salad. Photo credit goes to my other sister, thank you for allowing me harass you and “drain your battery”. She set it up nicely for me, moved a couple things around, made the salad look even more amazing! Conteeeent! Aside from their natural good taste and great crunchy texture alongside wonderful colours and fragrances, eating a large serving of fresh, raw vegetables each day can have significant health benefits.

It makes a substantial contribution to disease prevention, healthy weight and youthful energy – and who isn’t interested in a bit more energy and vitality? Speaking of food and vitality, come find out more about how food can impact sexual health and wellness at our annual ‘Just Sex’ event at Cresta Lodge on November 18.
