South African Afro-House, Afro-Tech, Deep-Tech DJ, producer & remixer, Caiiro, headlined the event, dubbed the GIMC Afro Tech 3.0.

Caiiro performed alongside Vitoto, Tefo Foxx, Teaz, Jam-n-I, Romeo, Soulman BW, Benny T, Casper the DJ and Hapex Guru.

Despite a relatively low turn-out on the night, the beat went on with the DJs giving the patrons their best sets. The morning downpours in the city had set the mood nicely for a night of good vibes and the Afro Tech 3.0 offered exactly that.

While Caiiro was the main attraction on the night, all the DJs on the line-up were eager to make an impression as well. Among them was Jam-n-I who was the only female DJ of the show.

Her turn on the decks was definitely a tone setter for the show and left many mesmerised. Another local DJ, Teaz proved that the locals have the skill on the decks with a lively set of his own.

Slotting in between South Africans, Tefo Foxx and Vitoto, Teaz really held his own and never took the tempo down. He was just as impressive as the rest of them. The star man Caiiro got up on stage at 0130am, much to the rousing applause and whistles of the crowd. He assumed the decks, which were nicely warmed by his predecessors.

His set was electrifying as he served fans hit after hit. His set was just dedicated to playing his music alone as he would throw in some remix of some of the trending Amapiano tunes. The crowd was definitely enjoying as everyone was on their feet, dancing to the beat. The event turned out to be an intimate affair dominated by Afro Tech beat.
