The team arrested five men over the weekend after they came up as suspect(s) in the case of a man residing in Extension 4, Palapye was stabbed with a sharp object and robbed him of money and a mobile phone.

No 2 district officer commanding, Senior Superintendent Paul Oketsang said three mobile phones suspected to have been stolen were recovered from the quintet when searched by the police.

“The arrest of the quintet led to the arrest of the other three young men and they are currently all in police custody helping with investigations. It looks like it’s a syndicate of young men terrorising people in Palapye,” Oketsang said.

He applauded the team for their dedicated efforts as they continue to detect cases and arrest suspects.
