Alex Forbes held an insight, advice, and impact programme on Friday to update its customers on what the new Alex Forbes is all about compared to the old Alexander Forbes as popularly known before the rebranding exercise.

The programme was dubbed 'Reshaping Our Industry'. Speaking at the event, Alex Forbes MD Poloko Masitara said the rebranding has been long coming. She explained that the rebranding exercise focused on giving their clients satisfactory service.

Masitara added it also helped them to strengthen their relationship with their clients and have more of an interactive engagement with them as partners and work towards a mutually beneficial relationship where they can serve the interests of each other.

The MD went on to explain that the programme was put in place so that their partners, who are also their clients and relevant stakeholders, are aware of the changes that will be put in place from here going forward, and also for them to know exactly what Alex Forbes does and the services it offers. In the newly branded Alex Forbes, Forbes has improved benefits for its customers.

The newly branded Forbes will be looking to concentrate more on increasing the wealth of its clients. One of the huge changes brought by the rebranded Alex Forbes is employee benefits.

The new branding has added more to the old traditional quadrants of employee benefits which are Risk, Health, Funeral and Retirement. Improving the four old quadrants of employee benefits is said to be a step in the right direction as times have evolved and there are so many factors one would have to think of when it comes to employee benefits from things like emotional and spiritual support and many more.

Executive for Consulting at Alex Forbes, Butsi Tladi revealed the new quadrants that the rebranded Alex Forbes has identified for employee benefits were long overdue. “During our rebranding, we saw it fit to go back and look into improving the old employee benefits, and in our rebranded Forbes, we decided that there is a need for social employee benefits, intellectual, occupational, emotional and spiritual, environmental and physical,” she said.

Tladi went on to explain that they have increased the paternity leave for their employees as they have realised that fathers also need time to bond with their little ones.

“We also have a 24/7 gym for our employees which they can use at any time they deem fit to keep fit and be in good shape.

We also have breastfeeding facilities and expression facilities that breastfeeding mothers can easily use to breastfeed their babies without disturbing other employees, and we also have daycare centres that employees can utilise for the care of their children while they are at work,” she said.

The newly rebranded Alex Forbes will be looking forward to working with its clients' partners so that they can get to know what it is that they can do to improve on their side to cater to their clients' needs so that their clients' needs are well looked after.
