The new comers came from 2-0 down to secure a point with an exciting draw.

Going into the game, Galaxy were the favourites to walk away with maximum points while Holy Ghosts, as a new team in the elite league are still trying to find their feet.

As expected, Galaxy took control of the match from the first whistle while Holy Ghost defended deep in their own half. Galaxy mounted pressure and Serati Semadi took a brilliant shot at Holy Ghost's goalkeeper, Botlhe Moralo who parried it away for a corner.

Galaxy came close to registering their first goal from the corner kick when Thabang Sesinyi found himself unmarked but his header went wide. It was exactly at 15 minutes when Galaxy registered their first goal, courtesy of Gilbert Baruti resulting from a well orchestrated attack.

Baruti received the final pass and realised he had plenty of space in front of him, took the shot from outside the box to give his side the lead. It did not take long for Galaxy to score their second goal when Semadi found the back of the net from a corner with a header.

It seemed that Galaxy were running away with the game but that was not the case as Holy Ghosts came back into the game gradually. Kitso Kgopa pulled one back for Holy Ghost in the 39th minute.

The two teams went on to half time break with the scores standing at 2-1 in favour of Galaxy. Holy Ghost came back from the second half and continued where they left off and this time around Holy Ghost did not sit back but took the game to Galaxy. On the 70th minute they found the back of the net once again to go on level terms with a goal from Kgomotso Kgopegang.

In an interview with Sport Monitor, Holy Ghost coach Kentse Motlhale said their plan for the game was just to absorb pressure and feels they did exceptionally well.
