The tournament also featured two other local sides, Prisons XI and Mexican Girls. Both Double Action and GU came into the final oozing with confidence after proving their mettle against their opponents in the semi finals.

Double Action was up against the Mexican Girls and the former continued to prove why they are recognised as one of the giants of women's football in the country.

They won 3-1 with goals from Gofaone Morwane, Lesego Radiakanyo, and Tumelo Tiro while Mexican Girls’ consolation goal came from Jessica Modise. GU on the other hand defeated Prison XI by 3- 0 with Masego Koboto banging a hat-trick on the day.

In the final, Double Action took the match to GU from the first whistle playing with high tempo and putting the opposition under pressure. GU withstood the pressure and were able to stop Double Action from scoring in the first 15 minutes.

However, their resilience was finally broken when Double Action’s wonder kid, Balotlhanyi Johannes found the back of the net to give her side the lead. Double Action continued to pile pressure on GU and got their second goal minutes apart from the first one through Gaonyadiwe Ontlametse. The two teams went into half time break with Double Action leading GU by two goals.

It was only in the second half that GU started coming to the party. They nearly pulled one goal back when their striker caught Double Action defence napping and took a shot at goal that left the goalkeeper rattled.

However, Double Action were saved by the crossbar. Double action tried to cement their lead in the game moments later, when the team had a beautifully built attack that saw Ontlametse hit a stunning cracker but the GU goalkeeper managed to keep the ball away.

With the game approaching the final minutes of the second half, Double Action found the third goal through an own goal by GU player, Golebaone Selebatso. During a post-match interview, Double Action coach, Kago Konege said the game went according to plan.

He said the plan was to take the game to GU and apply more pressure so that they could test their fitness after both playing in the morning. The tournament ended with Double Action dominating individual awards with their players scooping best player of the tournament and goalkeeper of the tournament.

Player of the tournament went to Radiakanyo who walked away with P1,500 while the goalkeeper of the tournament award went to Bame Mokime and got P1,000 for the accolade.

Jessica Modise of Mexican Girls walked away with best young player of the tournament and top goal scorer and took home P500 for each of the awards. Meanwhile, Prison XI thrashed Mexican Girls 6-3 in the losers' final and walked away with P2,500 in cash prize money.
