The institution hosted the celebratory ceremony for the graduates of level 400 who had just completed their AAT programme.

This year’s graduation saw the number of graduates increase to 376, making the institution's Class of 2022 the highest.

Gilika, who came out on top against the other 375 graduates, told Business Monitor that he intends to join the corporate world and vows to show the same energy that he showed when he was pursuing his AAT qualification, “It is really an honour for me to graduate from my programme after all the years I spent studying,” he said.

Speaking during the graduation ceremony recently, BICA CEO Verily Molatedi advised graduates to continue excelling in everything that they do, advising the students to continue sharpening their skills.

“This graduation means you are ready to go out there and should always heed the Act of 2010 for the people that practice accounting so that they never get on the wrong side of the law and be at risk of breaching their qualifications as accountants,” she said.

She further applauded government for the support in sponsoring students highlighting that it makes a huge role in making them realise their dreams. In addition, the students were advised to also explore international markets as their qualification is internationally recognised.

BICA continues to promote and commit positively to the economy as the institution continues to produce Chartered Accountant graduates who are ready to serve the country and perform diligently.

Graduates from the BICA institution are equipped with the skills and knowledge that they will need to execute their duties well.
