The Francistown-based side was amongst four other clubs who recently faced demotion to the Botswana Football Association’s (BFA) lowest structures after failing to comply fully with Club Licensing requirements.

However, after the intervention of the BFA national executive committee (NEC), the five clubs were given another five days to correct and submit all the missing documents in their applications for licenses.

On Thursday, the BFA announced that all the five clubs have now passed the second test and will form part of the 16 teams elite league next season. With the football fraternity now waiting anxiously for the announcement of the start of the season, Eleven Angels have now sent a statement that they are not going to take chances in their maiden Premier league campaign.

With the club already boasting of talented and exciting young players, the arrival of 10 new players is expected to give them the depth and experience needed to withstand the pressure in top-flight football. Among the new players announced over the weekend is central midfielder, Kudzani Sibanda who joined Eleven Angels from relegated side, Notwane.

The club has also boosted its midfield with the arrival of Frederick Mpofu and Ronny Leagile. Leagile was joining the club from Bobonong-based side, Peace Makers while Mpofu comes on a season-long loan from Future Stars academy.

The club has also re-inforced its striking department with the arrival of Godknows Mutina and Eric Ookame who are expected to compete for a position with Young Zebras striker, Monty Enosa. Other new players include Tambani Bachopi, Emmanuel Keiditswe, Otsile Tsapoga, Shangani Nganda, Mbaakanyi Makafiri and Thuso Monyama. Extension Gunners, who were also given a second chance to retain their Premier League status, are also gearing up for the season with reports that experienced players, Ofentse Nato and Keeagile Kgosipula have joined the club.

Gunners already have the likes of Kobamelo Kebaikanye, Dirang Moloi and Thato Bolweleng who have played top-flight football for many seasons. Meanwhile the Debswana First Division South league also promises fireworks this coming season if the movement of players is anything to go by.

Ambitious Kgatleng side, Matebele announced the signing of former Gaborone United (GU) striker, Kekaetswe ‘Mara’ Moloi. Another Kgatleng side, CRACKiT City Polar are sending a strong statement of intent after the arrival of new shareholders, CRACKiT Tuitions Botswana. They have announced Paradzayi Mandivenga as the new head coach assisted by former Uniao Flamengo Santos defender, Thabo Mothibi.

They have also signed among other players, Emmanuel Thabe from Mochudi Centre Chiefs. Chiefs are also said to have lost another important player, captain Arnold Mampori who has reportedly joined Santos.
