The trio of Tshenolo Mosimane, Motheo Rabasha and Kay Mokaleng has achieved this through the help of Bravehearts (PTY) Ltd.

Addressing the media on Tuesday, Braveheart founder, Joseph Manuel said the concert would change the revellers’ lives. He said by the time those in attendance at the concert leave the venue, their lives will be different.

He also said this year they decided to bring local acts on board so they share the stage with Joyous Celebration. “Mosimane, and the Rabasha and Mokaleng will be collaborating with Joyous Celebration at our upcoming Life Changing Concert.

They were picked from our gospel programme that we were piloting. We chose them to collaborate with the choir because we wanted to use unfamiliar faces.” said Manuel. “The three will be paid.

However, we have no agreement with Joyous Celebration to absorb them into the choir. They have the way they do things but if they are interested in working with them everything will be discussed after the concert,” he explained.

He added that they would make sure they cater for everyone at the event through different music genres but all songs would strictly be gospel. He also said the security would be very tight on the day for people and their goods’ safety as they have engaged two security companies.

There will be food and drinks stall at the event. He encouraged the public to bring their spouses, children, family and friends. Even though the event will be on the same day as Kgosi Ya Mosadi album launch, just a stone throw away from the venue (National Stadium), Manuel said they would consult the coordinators and see how they could help each other to ensure their audiences' safety and easy access to the venue.

Doors will be open from 5pm till 12midnight. Tickets are sold at P400 Golden Circle, P350 silver circle and P300 bronze. Every ticket is said to have a sit so people will not be sitting on first come first serve basis.

He added that they would be expecting at least 6,000 people. He explained that they have currently sold 50% of tickets. For his part, a member of Joyous Celebration Sefako Mamabolo famed for his song Oska Wa Ntsheba Wa Nnyatsa, said he has been with the choir for five years and learnt a lot from it over the years. He explained that it was not his first time to perform in Botswana.

He also said they were happy to be joined by the trio at the concert. He further pointed out that they always host auditions when adding new artists in their team so they learn a lot from the choir. “I am passionate with young people.

I saw how young people undermine themselves. If you get into social media you will see a number of young people posting negative things about themselves hence my decision to write Oska Ntsheba Wa Nnyatsa to encourage them to become the best version of themselves. We see people drinking harmful substances all in the name of losing weight. This is attributed to low self-esteem and lack of confidence.

I want to make an impact in communities and young people,” he said. Rabasha said he was excited and grateful to Brave Hearts for such a splendid opportunity. He urged people to expect electric Holy Spirit filled night. He said the audience could never leave the venue without their lives being changed. He added that he never expected to collaborate with a big choir like Joyous Celebration saying he looked up to them and sung all their songs.
