Pedestrian dies along Segoditshane Way

Deputy divisional traffic officer for South Central, Senior Superintendent Boiki Mojalemotho said the accident happened at about 3:45am on Sunday near the Tsholofelo Park traffic lights.
He explained that the 19-year-old lad, who was behind the wheel of a Land Rover, allegedly killed the unknown man while he was crossing the street from the east to the west end of the road. Mojalemotho indicated that the motorist was southbound when he allegedly struck the unidentified man.
The unknown man was taken to Extension 2 clinic in Gaborone where he was certified dead. He said: “The driver was sober at that time and investigations are still at a preliminary stage to identify the cause of the accident.” Mojalemotho urged the community to help identify the unknown man.
