Serowe police probe murder

The deceased was found by a 23-year-old man who reported the matter to the police after discovering the deceased's body lying in a pool of blood by the roadside.

Investigating the case, Serowe Police Station commander, Superintendent Poloko Oteng said the deceased was rushed to Sekgoma Memorial Hospital with a deep stab wound and was confirmed dead on arrival by the doctors.

Oteng said the suspect in the matter is a young man from the same village. He was arrested after the report and will today (Monday) be arraigned before Serowe Magistrate's Court to face a single count of murder.
