Police probe fatal single-car crash

At around 3am, Goodhope police responded to a report of a vehicle crash after a 35-year-old man was found lifeless by the roadside not far from a Toyota Land Cruiser that had overturned.
According to Goodhope Police station commander, superintendent Batshwari Gaobatelwe said the deceased was driving alone to Mosisedi farms when he met his fate.
“We do not know what transpired but we suspect that he might have dozed off whilst driving, lost control of the car, and it overturned. The driver, as the sole occupant of the vehicle, was ejected from the vehicle and was found dead not far from the car.
Through our preliminary investigations we have established that the deceased was last seen entertaining himself in Goodhope,” Gaobatelwe said.
