Having spent four years developing and improving the Bucket Hats product, HSP Inc is confident that it is now ready for retail and to compete on the international stage.

Speaking about the monumental store listing, HSP Inc founder and chief executive officer, Karabo Leburu said the listing in stores means that they are now ready to colour the world with their bucket hats and add a fresh flavour to the headwear culture.

“All this will be fused together with the graffiti culture which has been a prominent street culture element across the globe.

Listing will enable lovers of art to experience what we have done to the bucket hat in terms of the enhanced quality that we bring to the product and the dope art we have put on it,” he said.

Inc is a multifaceted arts company that creates lifestyle products and services aimed at bridging the gap between art producers and art consumers.

“Artists/creatives prefer to just create art, while consumers want a platform to enjoy the art; that's where HSP Inc comes in," he added.

The company collaborates with creatives from all artistic disciplines to create and promote their creative works to be visible and available to the consumer.

Established in 2018, HSP Inc’s mission is to create an ecosystem that will see the improvement of artists' wellbeing while ensuring art consumers are equally satisfied, all in a collaborative manner.

The company's head of Sales and Marketing, Carlos Makgato said they have spent the last four years developing the Bucket Hat to create a world class product. "We are still investing in Research and Development to create the best Bucket Hats, for all seasons. Currently Bucket Hats are our only product. More products will be rolled out in the next coming years. For now our focus is on Bucket Hats only until we perfect them," he explained.

Each hat retails for P250.

Makgato said the market has responded well considering that they are yet to spend on advertising. He stated that they have been able to sell over 200 pieces since officially launching in 2021.
