Fugitive burnt to death

Ramatlabama Police station commander, superintendent Zibani Mbisana said the deceased was found along the borderline on the outskirts of Tlhareseleele village.

Mbisana said the deceased was on their wanted list for a string of housebreaking and theft cases pending before their station.

“We suspect that he was burnt to death because even the bush where he was lying lifeless was burnt. Investigations into the matter are ongoing to establish who might have killed him.

The deceased was found by a passerby herder on Friday early morning and reported the matter to the police. He was rushed to Goodhope Primary Hospital where he was certified dead on arrival.

We have launched a murder probe,” Mbisana said. Furthermore, Mbisana revealed that they have been looking for the deceased for a while suspecting that he might have crossed to South Africa. He added that he was on bail for a threat-to-kill case and also had a stock theft case.
