The revellers braved on to grace the festival despite still recovering from the morning race PIC: KENNEDY RAMOKONE.

The event, which was headlined by legendary Kwasa Kwasa star Franco and Vee Mampeezy, was part of activities attached to the main event, the marathon this past Saturday.

The artists line-up included Tika Poo, Slizer, Maghebula, MC Maswe and Tshepo G. Although yet to recover from the morning race, revellers braved on to grace the festival, which turned to be very entertaining.

Franco, who performed two sets on the night, gave revellers a taste of some of the music from his long anticipated upcoming album. It has been a few years since the Gabane-born musician released an album, and one could tell that his fans are longing for something fresh from him.

His last album called Mene Mene Tekele was released in 2018. At one point, he was joined on stage by Ghetto boy, Oscar Chakabuya. Maghebula also proved to be a hit with the crowd.

He got the crowd singing along to each and every song he performed.

As usual, Vee Mampeezy, who performed in the wee hours of Sunday morning brought energy on stage. Although he performed at a time when you would assume that revellers were tired, he managed to get the crowd lively. All in all, revellers were treated to scintillating performances from local acts to wrap up an eventful weekend in what has been branded a 'ghost town' of Selebi-Phikwe.
