The event, dubbed The Kulture VIP Experience Launch was held at one of Gaborone’s up market eatery called Mo’s Open-Table Restaurant situated at Fairscape precinct at Fairgrounds. Although Black Coffee was not present at the occasion, punters felt good about themselves as they were treated to a night of good entertainment by the local entertainers.

The local acts included Bekzin Terris, PH, Han C, Benny T, Mush and Trax & Q De Soul who rocked patrons from 6pm up to midnight. While the DJ’s played different types of music such as house classical, R&B and Hip Hop, it blended well with the crowd, as they danced and sang along to most of the sets.

As expected, Han C was the star of the night, serenading fans with his beautiful performance as the only performing act in the line-up. When he got on stage, the Itsatsaula hitmaker took the tempo a notch higher, with everyone getting up to dance along.

The talented singer performed some of his most popular songs such as Rejection (Ft DJ Kuchi), Itsatsaula featuring Charma Gal, and Mafurafura. The launch party lived up to the hype, with most patrons who had braved the cold breeze impressed and enthusiastic of what to come during the main event.

The Kulture festival featuring Black Coffee, which is billed for November 12 in Gaborone is arguably one of the biggest events in the country’s entertainment calendar this year, alongside the Kgosi Ya Mosadi in Concert with Koffi Olomide. South African Black Coffee will make his return to Botswana after almost seven years as one of Africa’s biggest stars and most successful DJs after winning a Grammy award.
