According to Tlokweng Police Station commander, Superintendent Unoziba Rari said the first robbery incident occurred on Friday night after unknown men attacked a business complex, destroying doors of several offices, and making off with an electronic machine worth P24,000.
Rari said the unknown men, who are still at large, had stolen electronics and machines that were recovered in the bush after they dumped them when running away.
In another robbery incident that occurred on Saturday at around 2am at Khayakhulu ward in Tlokweng, two unknown men attacked two women rousing them from sleep, threatened them with iron rods, and stole three laptops, a television set and three mobile phones.
Asked if there were no injuries, Rari said the suspects did not make good on their threats to harm them with the iron rods. Furthermore, he stated that investigations are ongoing to find the suspects who had covered their faces with facemasks.
