Lekobe drops Thabo ya Letsatsi

It is obvious that the Matsiloje native’s long wait for his break was worth it, as he has managed to come up with a fantastic song that is poised to earn him praises.
In the song, Lekobe features house kwasa sensation Mingo Touch, Wedu and Nchegeti Chilinde.
The motswako song was produced by Chilinde but was mixed and mastered by Taboka Jazzman. “Well I have been in the music industry for a very long time and it was tough to penetrate even though I had good songs.

He explained that at one point, he recorded a full album titled, ‘Ke a Lesotho’ but could not release it. Instead, he went on to drop a single called ‘Get Rich’ featuring Mingo and O Khan. While the road ahead appeared tougher and gloomier, Lekobe persisted and told himself that giving up was not an option. In October 2021 I checked my producer and we worked on something.

The talented rapper thanked God for this moment of success, and said had it not been for his faith, he could have given up along the way as he was depressed at some point when things were not working out for him.
He said prayer has kept him going. He explained that he was inspired by her grandmother’s story when she had to feed a calf porridge after the death of its mother until it was fully grown and gave her a herd.
The story gave him hope hence the name of the single Thabo ya Letsatsi. Lekobe stated that the single is also a build up to his upcoming album, which is scheduled for release by end of August.
