Triple murder accused to plead guilty to the charges

The State alleges that Boitumelo Makgasane murdered Realotswe Kabare, Segametsi Moleele and Maitumelo Makwate between February 2 and 4 in 2016 at Mmadiphala ranch in Moletemane village.

Makgasane’s attorney, Reneetswe Rabosotho, told Justice Bengbame Sechele that the accused will be tendering a plea of guilty in all the three murder charges.

“May the matter be postponed to Wednesday to see how we will proceed in these matters. The accused is remanded in custody,” said Rabosotho.

Justice Sechele then said: “By consent of both the prosecution and defence counsels, these matters are postponed to tomorrow. The accused shall be further remanded in custody.”
