Gunners in trouble as season faces uncertainty

The FIFA Disciplinary Resolution Chamber (DRC) instructed Gunners on October 14, 2020, to settle a debt with former player, Kudzanani Machadzani within 45 days.
The club was banned from registering new local and international players until the debt is settled. As per the details of the letter that Mmegi Sport has, the BFA wrote to Gunners on November 23, 2021, reminding the club of the transfer ban imposed on them.
Gunners and Machadzani came to a payment agreement in January this year, however, the agreement did not have an impact on the ban the FIFA DRC imposed, as it did not see the settlement of the debt. Gunners are said to be owing Machadzani an amount close to P60,000. The BFA reminded the Peleng-based side on June 8 of their failure to comply with the FIFA and will remain banned from participating in the transfer window period. “As it is to this date, you have not fully complied with this FIFA order which compels the BFA to continue with the implementation of the decision to ban your club from registration, loaning, and transfer period.
FIFA DRC decision echoes that your club is banned from registering new players, either nationally or internationally, until the due amount is paid and for the maximum of three entire and consecutive registration periods,” BFA told Gunners last Wednesday.
The club had claimed they are in the dark over the ban upon Mmegi Sport enquiry last week. Their league rivals, Notwane are said to be preparing to challenge the authenticity of the 2021–2022 Premier League after Extension Gunners were allowed to register players in the off-season.
