As part of their corporate social responsibility, the management of Bokamoso committed itself to giving back to the community as is indicated in one of the pillars of 2036 that encourages human social development mainly focusing on education and skills development. It is a fact that children are the leaders of tomorrow hence it is imperative to invest in their education.

Educated children are more likely to invest in improving their community as grown-ups. This initiative is heading the ‘Adopt-a-School Initiative’, which was a call by the Ministry of Basic Education. Bokamoso's main objective by donating is to help encourage and improve the academic performance of Tau Manthe Primary School Leaving Examination studends.

When giving remarks, the Assistant Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Setlhabelo Modukanele said a good foundation of primary education enables learners to do better at secondary level. “It is all our responsibility to ensure that every child is given an opportunity to study and that they do so in the most dignified manner,” he said.

Modukanele said it is always encouraging when the business community gives back to their communities as the gestures suggest that when the government invites the private sector to partner with them, their requests do not fall on deaf ears. “The government is highly grateful to institutions that respond to these invitations and play a part,” Modukanele said. He also encouraged students to learn and equip themselves for a better tomorrow.
