While her fans cannot wait for the day, the cherry on top is that the event will be graced by the legendary Rhumba artist, Koffi Olomidé of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The show was launched Monday afternoon during a press conference. The 'Sekuta' hitmaker explained that the decision to host a solo performance concert comes after two local artistes, Franco and ATI, each successfully hosted their one-man shows. Although held at different venues with different capacities, each of the shows attracted a high turnout, as Batswana committed to supporting their own in music. By hosting the Kgosi Ya Mosadi in Concert, Charma Gal will become the first local mainstream female artiste to have a one-woman concert at the national stadium.

The first one-woman show was held by South African trending star Makhadzi at the Royal Aria Stadium in Tlokweng in March. In her effort to bring a top-notch event, Charma Gal has partnered with Lesh T Entertainment to assist with preparations and event management. Lesh T Entertainment is an event management company owned by kwaito-kwasa artiste Lesego Tikologo. Charma Gal has also roped in veteran promoter, Zenzele Hirschfield of Zen Promotions. Hirschfield said they will soon have a follow-up breakfast meeting with the community sometime this month, where they will be unpacking more on what they have already done on the preparation side of things, as well as unpack the line-up so that the supporters can know what to expect. Hirschfield pointed out that they will have an activation tour in Zimbabwe, Namibia, and South Africa, as Charma Gal is not only known in Botswana but also in the region where she has a huge fan base.

During the press conference, Olomidé's manager, Godrick Nuni announced that the Rhumba king will grace the concert. Olomidé is considered to be the ambassador of his own country’s music as he has several gold records earned over decades in his career. He is the founder of the Quartier Latin International orchestra. Charma Gal has pleaded with Batswana to support her Kgosi Ya Mosadi In Concert, as she cannot do it without their support. "I need all the support that I can get from Batswana at large to pull this concert off," pleaded Charma Gal. Born Magdeline Lesolebe, Charma Gal started her music career in 2004 as a lead singer and co-founder of traditional dance group, Culture Spears.

Charma Gal has over the years produced many hits such as 'Chika Dance', 'Selelo', 'Mama Ntshware ke sia le Matebele', to name but a few. The talented singer then became a solo artist after parting ways with Culture Spears, where she has flourished and become an established brand in the industry. Although very unique in her music and the use of Setswana, Charma Gal has also displayed diversity as an artiste who can fit in any genre without struggling to adjust. As a solo artist, Charma Gal has collaborated with some of the best local, regional, and international artists such as the late Oliver Mtukuzi on the song 'Motokwe', Jah Prayzah ('Darli Wangu'), MMP Family ('Tuesday'), Mazwale, and Mudrizo.
