Tonota illegal gambler wanted for stabbing man

Tonota Police Station commander, Oteng Ngada explained that the victim of Semotswane ward was stabbed multiple times with a sharp object which is believed to be a knife.

The incident happened on Saturday at around 7pm. Ngada further said that the victim sustained serious injuries. The suspect, a Motswana man, is still at large.

Before the stabbing, the two allegedly argued while gambling at a local shebeen. Ngada further highlighted that the argument then degenerated into a heated quarrel that resulted in the victim being stabbed.

“The victim is admitted at NRH and is in critical condition,” he added.

The station commander pleaded with the community to assist with any information that could help arrest the suspect.
