Oteng said the deceased was identified by a passerby hanging from a tree in the yard and alerted her parents. “The deceased was rushed to Sekgoma Memorial Hospital where she was certified dead by doctors,” he said. In another matter, Oteng said on Saturday a 30-year-old woman of Mosenya ward in Serowe committed suicide by hanging herself with an electric cable. He stated that the deceased was found by one of her family members hanging from a tree in the yard early in the morning and reported the matter to the police. “Investigations in both incidents are ongoing to establish the cause of their acts. It is of great concern that women have committed suicide because women are less likely than men to commit suicide. Both of the deceased did not leave any messages explaining what might have been troubling them or possibly influenced their actions,” Oteng said.
