According to the officer commanding, Senior Superintendent Theriso Thatayotlhe they are yet to identify the victim and establish what transpired because the victim is currently unable to speak and is still hospitalised.

“We do not know what really transpired. We are still waiting for him to regain consciousness and disclose to us what really transpired,” said Thatayotlhe.

“We do not know if he was attacked and assaulted by thieves or he was involved in a misunderstanding with someone or people which lead to a fight, but investigations are ongoing to establish the cause of his severe injuries.”
