There is particular excitement in the atmosphere about this year’s event as its patronage had to wait twice as long as usual. It is a precise moment in time to gather and share where women are in their lives, navigating the 'new normal'. ESTeRES managing director, Michelle Phetlhe says she is a firm believer in personal development and this is the backbone of all their work at the agency. "This has been evident through our other events such as the Sexual Health and Wellness Event quirkily dubbed ‘Just Sex’. The culinary arm of the business under ChellzKitchen, which conducted group cooking classes for individuals and corporates for team building, as well as the myriad of product and service promotions they handle.

The most important facet of what ESTeRES does is premised on consumer experience, as well as the lessons and tools that those who engage with the brand acquire," Phetlhe explains. Phetlhe elaborated that every WEB event is unique, based on the fact that conversations experienced are never the same. She said topics address issues, which are of importance and commonly affect women in the current landscape, adding that the panel, which is carefully selected is bestowed to lead, as individual speakers carry conversations by sharing personal journeys, lessons, and advice. "During the harsh stages of the pandemic, a lot of us experienced the pain of relying solely on external services/products (imports). ESTeRES took this lesson seriously and decided this year to have a panel of 100% local speakers. We searched within our borders, becoming very cognisant of our capability as a nation. The speakers for #WEB22 are Naseem Lahri, managing director of Lucara Diamond Botswana addressing the topic, 'Glass Ceilings'. Former Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry and Global Economist, Bogolo Kenewendo will be speaking on 'No Limits'. "She has been quoted saying it is her first in-person event in Botswana in a very long time and is very excited about it. Kenewendo is also happy to announce that she and the organisers have committed to donating some proceeds of the event to a women's or youth support organisation in Boteti. Kgosi Mosadi Seboko of BaMalete will speak on 'Gender as a Social Construct'. A perfect candidate to navigate this mammoth conversation as one of the few female tribal leaders globally. Dr Keneilwe Molebatsi will be unpacking the topic of Mental Health.

One can only imagine the depths this topic will take guests into as the world as a whole had mental health challenged in a way like never before over the last two years," Phetlhe said. Tickets are sold and delivered personally by ESTeRES as this further communicates dedication to personal experiences (all COVID protocols observed). Retailing at P700 tickets can be sourced from +26771619565 or at the Women's Etiquette Brunch Facebook page. Phetlhe shared testimonials from individuals who attended previous WEB events, describing the experience as heart-warming and awe-inspiring. She said she looks forward to new empowering stories. "We are thankful to our sponsors including our three-time venue partner, Dulux Botswana, Carerra Holdings, Sego Events, Mosha Spa, Aldo, Options, The Goodie Bag Factory, and Graham Beck. WEB is clearly a life-changing experience and the team at ESTeRES would like to keep changing lives for the best," she said.
