The two sides will now battle it out for automatic promotion in their last games, with the sides level on 42 points, although Holy Ghost still has a superior goal difference. "I'm confident that we will be promoted to the Premier League. We must win our last game, no matter what. It is disappointing that we have now brought the pressure on ourselves," said Kowa. Kowa's charges gave a lackluster shift on Saturday afternoon in a dull affair against Matebejana who are number five on the log. Both sides failed to create any chances for the better part of the first half.

The first chance came in the 27th minute, when Matebejana striker, Thato Ofentse failed to score with just the goalkeeper to beat. Matebejana goalkeeper, Mpho Mantsho was called into action in the 65th minute and he produced a fine save from a well taken freekick by Mpho Dikganetso. Holy Ghost thought they had found the winner in the last minute of the match but were shocked when the referee ruled for a foul against Matebejana goalkeeper. The keeper hit the goalposts when retreating in an attempt to keep out the ball. The match ended in a 0-0 stalemate. Matebejana assistant coach, Derrick Malunga said they played under no pressure, something that allowed them to settle earlier than their opponents who needed a win at all costs. He said both teams tried to create but it wasn't just happening.
