The song, which was produced by Rulebizzy and recorded at HoodRecords, was released at the end of April.
Thintee told Arts & Culture that the single is a motivational piece that encourages people not to give up on their dreams no matter the circumstances they find themselves in. “Everything is possible. Dream and never give up,” he said.
He stated that the single has been doing very well since its release and getting rotational airplay on local radio stations.
“The single is doing very well ever since it was released last month. People love the song. It has received rave reviews and has been on rotation on local radio stations after being first played by Duma FM,” he stated.
He said following his last project, Umoya in which he features MisJay, CostAzaz & Dj Split, he realised the need to churn more music.
“On this song, I tried the Amapiano genre for the first time and it worked. The song gets air played in all local radio stations almost every day and the music video was also a success. It also got airplay on local television channels such as YTV,” he added. Thintee also said he is currently working on his next album to be called MATLHOGONOLO. He disclosed that he has been working on it since 2021 and the album is almost complete. However, he said he has not decided on the release date of the album.
Thintee came into the music scene back in 2015 after he released his first single titled Gotlhe Kgosi in 2015.
Unfortunately, the industry was not too kind to him, as he did not receive the much-needed recognition he had hoped for as his song did not get airplay on local radio stations. However, the 26-year-old did not give up on his passion as he went back and worked on his flaws before coming stronger with another single titled Waste No Time. Waste No Time gave him his big break, as he finally got the recognition he longed for.
