The reigning champions take on the record league champions at the Galaxy Stadium in a Botswana Premier League tie. GU will be watching proceeds with keen interest as Popa and the Reds vie for the league. Popa are in a clash with an opponent of their might this Saturday.

Rollers is just five points ahead of their weekend opponents. The Blues are having a mixed run of results as off the field issues seem to be taking a toll. Rollers have two wins in their last five games, having lost once and played to a draw twice. It has been a difficult period for Rollers as left-back Onkarabile Ratanang remains side-lined and recently Brian Makanku joined the injury list that includes the midfielder duo of Kutlwelo Mpolokang and Phenyo Serameng. The duo is, however, subject to a late fitness test and could make the trip to the mining town.

Popa should be very worried about playing their opponents as Galaxy were unbeaten in the last five league games. Since their CAF Champions League adventure, the team has been in great form on the domestic front. With 12 goals scored and only one conceded in the last five games, surely one can place their bet on the Galaxy Stars ahead of the tie. In form, Thabang Sesinyi is nearly unplayable at the moment and is fresh from breaching the 20-goal mark in midweek. He will hope to go past 25 goals this season.

GU on the hand, from distance hopes for a ‘favour’ from Galaxy to inch closer to the league championship. The Reds take on Mahalapye Railway Highlanders on Saturday afternoon and have a pleasant form against the team. Highlanders, however, have proven they are not a walkover after finding some bit of form in the second round of the league games. The Reds are unbeaten in the last five games while Highlanders have only collected two wins in their five.

In other games, Mogoditshane Fighters take on Sua Flamingoes at the Otse Stadium. The Lobatse Sports Complex will host a double-header with Notwane and Police XI as the teams in the earlier kick-off, while BDF XI and Security Systems will square off later on. Orapa United welcome Extension Gunners at the Itekeng Stadium while Prisons XI and Gilport Lions meet at the VTM arena. Masitaoka and Morupule Wanderers meet at the National Stadium in an evening kick-off. All the afternoon games will start at 3pm while the evening games kick off at 7pm.
