The bash became even more colourful when his fans showered him with gifts and cakes. The star, who recently achieved the biggest feat of his career by filling up the National Stadium with an all-local line-up, was pumped up for this one from the onset.
Together with his backing band, Afro Musica, they raised the tempo with their sound check performance early on.
That set the bar and the tone of an entertaining evening. Other artists did not disappoint as well as they thrilled revelers throughout the night.
It was a good night of entertainment as lesser known artists such as Dilomakwati, Tika Poo, Kgarebe ya Setso, Madala vs Kelly Jezz, Rocking Stars also gave good account of themselves.
Others who also thrilled on the night include Bana Bana Ba Ntogwa, Kerry More, Afro Rumba Stars, Tshepo G, Rocking Stars.
Legendary DJ Fondo Fire also chipped in with a powerful set that left revelers asking for more.
Slizer, MC Maswe and Danny Bass Crew were also present to cap off a beautiful night for the music icon. Franco & Afro Musica performed two sets excluding the sound check. The first one was at midnight, which included the cake cutting and the last one in the morning to wrap up the birthday bash.
