A10 head-on collision claims two

Confirming the case, the divisional traffic officer for South Central, Assistant Commissioner, Reginald Matlhaba said the accident happened at 10pm.
“We are investigating an accident in which two men lost their lives after being involved in a head-on collision accident last Monday along A10,” he said.
“We do not know what caused the head-on collision but we suspect that one of the drivers might have lost control of the car and drove into another lane resulting in the collision.”
Matlhaba stated that one of the two men lost his life on the spot while the other succumbed to his injuries on Saturday after he was hospitalised for some days at Gaborone’s Princess Marina Referral Hospital.
Following the crash, he pleaded with motorists to exercise caution on the roads to avoid unnecessary accidents that continue to claim people’s lives.
