Systems were 2-1 victors on Saturday afternoon in an Orange FA Cup tie played here at the Lobatse Sports Complex. Speaking to Sport Monitor after the game, Kaelo said eliminating Rollers is a natural morale booster to his side and will be targeting to reach to the cup final. “A win always gives you a lift, a boost and beating Rollers is not child’s play. It is going to give us a boost; a morale.

You see, it is a good thing for these boys and for us a coaches it gives us the confidence of doing the right things at the right time,” Kaelo said. Systems, however, had a rather slow start to the match with both sides failing to show attacking intent in the first 10 minutes of the game. They had their first sight at goal on the 17th minute as Letlhogonolo Chenjela pulled a splendid save from Keeagile Kgosipula from range. Rollers striker, Ovella Ochieng, on the other end failed to connect well with Tlhalefo Molebatsi's cross on the 25th minute.

Two minutes later, the Alarm Boys took the lead with skipper, Bophelo Macheng nodding in a corner kick taking full advantage of poor marking by Rollers defense. From taking the lead, Systems were put on a back foot by the opposition. However, they remained stubborn at the back. On the brink of half time, Takunda Sadiki hit the cross bar as Systems took a 1-0 lead into the halftime break. Rollers looked the better of the two teams in the early minutes of the second half. On the 55th minute, Segolame Boy tried a curler from long range but his effort was wide off the post. Against the run of play, Systems doubled their lead as substitute, Molaodi Tlhalefang tucked in from close range to make 2-0 on the 64th minute. Six minutes later, Molebatsi headed wide off the post as Rollers looked for a comeback.

Two minutes later, Mosha Gaolaolwe saw his header going wide off the post from a corner kick. With eight minutes to time Poloko Nkalolang shot wide off the post. On referee’s additional minutes, substitute, Edwin Moalosi struck in from close range to make it 2-1.
