According to the author, scripting the book was a brave decision. He explained that the title of the book was derived from the common language of carrying the weight of the world on one's shoulders. Kabomo, however, stated that he brought it closer to home to imply that many people are carrying a village on their shoulders, looking at their lives as Batswana and Africans. “The Book was inspired by my passion to help people, to see people doing well in life more especially in social relations, economic development and humanity. I believe if we are all kind to one another, and help one another, strangers alike, the world would be a better place for all.

So this book seeks to open the eyes of readers on things that seemingly pull us down, draw us back from achieving economical success. Mostly, practices that are part of our tradition, upbringing and engraved customs all stemmed from goodness,” he said. Kabomo also explained that the book was written to help people and address the taboo issues of today, adding that inevitably the book fell into the self-help or non-fiction genre. He said the book was relevant to all age groups particularly the youth and young working adults. He added that it served as a tool for transformation beyond just a good and necessary read. It has 10 chapters 138 pages.

He said the message portrayed by the book was that change began with him, the reader as well as being open minded towards life. He also pointed out that writing the book consumed time and money. He said it demanded a lot from him to get it published. However, he stated that people were not only reading it but also loving it and resonating with the message, which fulfilled his heart to get such positive feedback. Furthermore, he explained that writing the book was not easy.

Despite financial constraints and time consumption, he said his family, writing coach, Lazarus Takawira and Afroshapers team, and most importantly God, gave him the vision to touch people's lives through the book, something he pointed out as his greatest achievement. Advising aspiring authors, he said they must be sure of what they want to do. “Associate with the right people, those who are in the same field, or have done it before. Commit and act to achieve your goal. Have the hunger and desire to see end result or product. Don't lose hope when things get tough. Remind yourself why you started it. The book is also available in Paperbook and e-book format across various global platforms such as Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Lulu, Kobo Books and many more,” he concluded.
